What a beautiful weekend we just had to get married, especially when it was in the historic city of Edinburgh!
On Saturday we attended the stunning G&V Hotel for the wedding of Paul & Lynsay.
The approach to the hotel was breathtaking as we took in the sights of the castle, looming over the city like a guard on duty.
We will be honest, we were slightly jealous of all the folk out relaxing and having refreshments in the Grassmarket in the glorious sunshine…but we had a job to do that we were super excited about.
A special thanks to James who is one of the managers who assisted us in getting our van into the car park and getting our gear into the function room.
The photographer was Fraser from FC Event Photography, such a great guy and really creative with his pictures.
Around 7pm, the guests arrived into the function room and we first met Hugo…Lynsay & Paul’s gorgeous little short haired Yorkie! The guests were chilling and getting into the party spirit.
Around 8pm, Lynsay & Paul took to the dance floor for their first dance, Mumford & Son’s “Lover of the light“.
The night was just awesome, some Ceilidh and plenty of variety of music.
We had some old school dance classics and even Shamen’s “Ebeneezer Goode”….CLASSIC!
